The silicon carbide grain of the grinding mesh is applied to the carrier material made of robust nylon mesh using a special composite process. Although this reduces flexibility, it increases the service life by up to 4x compared to standard sanding sheets. Due to the many small openings in the mesh, the suction power is significantly increased, because the sanding dust is transported away over a much larger surface. The open structure of the grid lines makes precise positioning on the holes superfluous. The round sanding grid DTM3135 also fits, among other things, on the sanders from the Festtool and Bosch brands as well as on most other random orbit sanders with a 150mm sanding disc. After intensive use, the sanding dust can simply be rinsed off with water. After drying, the sanding mesh can be used again.
